3 DAYS LEFT! - SAVING LIVES THROUGH ART!

SAVING LIVES THROUGH ART! Can it be done by a Graphic Novel no less? I strongly believe that it can. With only 3 days left in this awe-inspiring kickstarter push. Siike Donnelly is looking for people to reach out and help in this, making his dream come true.
Currently he is running a Kickstarter www.kickstarter.com/projects/t… campaign for a graphic novel called Solestar, a creator-owned superhero that is inspired by the event that has come to define his adult life: surviving a brain aneurysm.
His goal with Solestar is to fund the printing costs through crowd-funding, and with just under a week left, he's almost hit the $11,000 goal. The book will hopefully go on to raise money for brain aneurysm research. As a comic book, it's also an interesting project due to its jam-comic style: every page is drawn by a different artist, bringing the total number of contributors to over 60.
A massive undertaking but in the end ultimately worth it. Please take a moment to stop by the Kickstarter page to help show your support by either donating or helping to spread the word. Thanks for taking the time to read this entry. Monica and I are always swamped, so it is sometimes hard to update everything we are working on. So I wanted to let everyone know about one of my personal projects I am dedicated to. It is BATTLE DRAWN! A online art driven podcast specializing in promoting the ARTS(Artists and Musicians) with a heavy focus on up and coming, indie artists. Our music focus is ROCK (all forms i.e. rock, metal, progressive, hardcore, industrial, classic, etc.)

SOLESTAR - Kickstarter

My Friends, Family everyone that I have the pleasure of knowing. I wanted to reach out to you all in letting you know something special Monica and I have been involved in. It is a current Kickstarter project called SOLESTAR!
This is a project in which tells a story through the eyes of a Brain Aneurysm Survivor, our friend Siike Donnelly of Nerd Nation. All proceeds from each book sold will be going to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation. Monica and I were very pleased to have the opportunity to step up for this great cause and show our support.
We contributed to the book by completing page 1 of the issue as well as creating an Exclusive 2013 Megacon Edition Cover. We have all fought our emotional and physical battles in this life. Some that have taken us down very different paths at times. But surviving in the end is truly triumphant!
If you could join us in supporting a survivor and a story that lends us to the understanding that we can all make a difference, no matter the circumstance. We would appreciate it. "For in a world where role models are scarce, We are the Heroes" - Graven
